"BART is at my front door and the Bay Bridge is a freeway entrance away to the rest of the Bay Area," states Frank Zamacona on his move to Oakland. His new address is Zamacona Productions, 1212 Broadway, Suite 901, Oakland, CA 94612
and the new phone number is 510-271-0124.
In addition to the move, Frank stayed busy with several projects. Turnhere.com commissioned Zamacona Productions to produce two neighborhood pieces for their website. The Caffe Trieste and Upper Grant Avenue films feature man-on-the-street humorist, Mal Sharpe interviewing the people and shop owners who make up San Francisco's North Beach. LMNO called on Frank to field produce for their new hit series, "What's With That House." This weekly series has host George Gray visiting strange and offbeat houses and their owners around the country. Check it out on HGTV on Wednesday and Sunday nights.
Stanford University executive producer Randy Bean and producer Alison Gibson selected Zamacona "Originalism, Music and The Constitution". This project featuring Rob Kapilow, Stanford’s chamber music ensemble-in-residence, the St. Lawrence Quartet and a panel of lawyers and specials guests explored how interpretations of music and law have evolved since the late 18th century. This program will be seen on Public Television.
Frank directed two productions distributed via webcast, satellite and audio bridge for Impact Inc. of Washington DC. The first project in Chicago featured the ongoing "Connect the Docs" series. This program for Bristol Meyers Squibb and Imclone featured the drug Ebiutex and culminated with a quiz show, pitting five cities with a touch pad response system, reviewing the material presented during the program. The second program produced in Cleveland, covered renal cell cancer. This educational program covered cell cancer cases as well as therapy recommendations and diagnostic evaluation of patients.
