Zamacona Productions

A television and video production company based in the San Francisco Bay Area established in 1983. Zamacona Productions offers services for every stage of production, taking projects from concept to completion.

Frank Zamacona has worked in television as a director/producer for over two decades. He has produced and directed over 100 entertainment specials and series distributed by PBS, The Discovery Channel, ABC, HGTV, Link TV, in-syndication and theatrically.

Frank's many awards and honors include several Emmy's, a Clio, a Broadcast Media Award, two Cine Golden Eagle Awards, a Gilbert Award, and Silver and Bronze medals from the New York Film and Video Festival. His professional affiliations include DGA, NABET, AFTRA and the Board of Governors of the San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of NATAS from 1989 through 1994.

Frank is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Communications and Arts. Zamacona has been a lecturer at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California and at the University of San Francisco. Zamacona began his television and film career at Riordan High School in San Francisco where he taught television production and other media related courses.
